HMS Active berthed
at the sugar refinery, Mombasa, during stand-down from Gulf patrol. This was the
new berth for visiting warships. To go ashore it's a straight line to the top of
the town as opposed to the bottom end where we (Daring) used to anchor out. The
new berth is next to the Malindi ferry (right of picture).
