Help!
Kim Hogg <KHogg@imgworld.com>
Following the recent success of The Second World War in Colour and Britain at War in Colour,
we are now embarking on a 3-part series for ITV/Carlton entitled The British Empire in Colour.
I am currently trying to find any diary extracts/letters from the Royal Tour 1953/54
which refer to the Naval Fleet greeting Britannia at Malta.
We have some wonderful film of the event and would dearly like to find a crew member
of either Britannia or another ship in the fleet, describing the splendour of the occasion.
I would therefore be very keen to hear from any one who might have a personal account of this.
If you think you can help, please do not hesitate to contact me.
My e-mail address is khogg@imgworld.com
Alternatively I can be telephoned directly on 02082 335971.
